Candidates Is a non-surgical nose job right for you?

A non-surgical nose job can be ideal for many men and women. If you have minor aesthetic issues to address and you want to avoid surgery, there's a very good chance that you will be considered a candidate.

However, it's important to note that the non-surgical approach is not appropriate in all cases. For example, you will need a traditional, surgical nose job to alter your nasal structure if you want to:

Permanently change the shape and size of your nose
Address breathing challenges
Address major aesthetic issues
Create a much smaller nose

What to expect

A traditional rhinoplasty involves removing excess tissue and cartilage to sculpt a more balanced nasal structure. Conversely, a non-surgical nose job uses dermal fillers to improve the shape and appearance of your nose. In this way, it can camouflage a host of problems and irregularities, and ensure that your nose is in harmony with the rest of your facial features.

To begin your appointment, we will closely examine your face as a whole to identify the target locations for the fillers. From there, Dr. Lyos will inject Juvederm and Restylane directly into your nose to add subtle volume, create new contours and establish a more pleasing profile. The entire process should take about 15 minutes and is extremely comfortable.

After your appointment

There is no downtime associated with a non-surgical nose job. As such, you will be free to return to work and your normal daily routine immediately. In terms of side effects, you may experience some minor swelling and numbness at the very most, though they should subside within a few days.

Your results will be apparent immediately and will continue to improve as any residual swelling subsides. In most cases your new nasal contours will last about one year, at which point you will require an additional non-surgical rhinoplasty to maintain your look.
