Often referred to as a facelift alternative, J-Plasma is a non-surgical treatment approach that can tighten lax skin, minimize imperfections and restore your youthful glow.

The basics How does J-Plasma work?

Our J-Plasma in Houston procedure involves combining helium gas and radio frequency energy to create cold helium plasma. This plasma is then applied directly to the treatment area via a stream, creating a mask that is wiped away along with the surface layer of your skin to reveal fresh, undamaged skin cells beneath the surface.

Discover the power of natural skin tightening.

J-Plasma is a groundbreaking procedure that has the power to rejuvenate your entire face. At our Houston office, we often perform this procedure to help our clients:

  • Smooth fine lines + wrinkles
  • Tighten lax facial skin
  • Minimize age spots + freckles + discoloration
  • Repair a sun-damaged complexion
  • Reduce the appearance of scars + freckles
  • Refresh the delicate skin around the eyes

Why J-Plasma

The Woodlands J-Plasma procedure is rapidly becoming one of our most popular non-surgical treatments - and with good reason. It delivers a host of benefits to our clients, including:

  • Dramatic non-surgical skin tightening
  • Long-lasting results
  • A safe + non-invasive approach
  • Done under local anesthesia

Candidates: Is J-Plasma right for you?

The ideal J-Plasma candidate has moderate-to-severe skin laxity. Prior to undergoing this procedure, you will need to complete an initial consultation and examination to confirm that J-Plasma is right for you.

Vision Institute Michigan

Once your face is fully numbed, we will apply the plasma stream to the treatment area until it is completely covered. We will then wipe away the superficial layer of your skin before applying a second round of plasma to remove the next layer. In general, this entire process takes about 30 to 45 minutes to complete. Although it shouldn't be painful, some patients do report mild discomfort during the treatment experience.

Afterwards, you will need to be driven home by a friend or family member and rest for at least ten days. During this time, crusting, peeling, redness, itching and swelling are common. We typically recommend having someone stay with you for about one week to ensure your safety. Post-treatment pain and discomfort is typically minimal and can be treated with over-the-counter medication.

Our J-Plasma in Houston procedure will be done under local anesthesia in the comfort and privacy of our Houston office.

The results: Dramatically Tigher, Younger-looking skin

The full results of your procedure will typically become apparent in a few months, as it takes this long for all redness and swelling to subside.

At that point, you should see noticeably tighter skin, fewer wrinkles and a smoother texture. The Woodlands J-Plasma treatment is so effective that many of our clients only require one treatment to achieve the smooth and tight skin they desire.
