A birthmark can often be the cause of teasing for many children, causing them to feel self-conscious about it for the rest of their adult lives. This is particularly the case when the birthmark is in a highly visible place. Coincidentally, tattoos can also be a source of great embarrassment. Something that at one time seemed like a good idea, now is clearly not an accurate representation of who you are and perhaps it is even hindering you from getting jobs.<\/p>\n

There are many reasons people chose to seek out treatment to have their birthmark or tattoo removed and these reasons are as valid and individualized as the marks themselves.
